The session aims to explore the transformative potential of key European legislative and technological initiatives in public sector services. Focusing on pivotal legislative frameworks, such as the Interoperable Europe Act and the AI Act. The discussion will highlight how these frameworks foster enhanced data sharing, AI-driven decision-making, and cross-border collaboration, setting the stage for the evolution of public services. LDT CitiVerse EDIC and Data EDIH, as key initiatives, will be examined to showcase how these programs are shaping the future of digital public services. In this general scheme, the implementation of data spaces and the increasing awareness on data protection (in particular personal data) are adding new pieces to the complex puzzle of public sector innovation, moving from local-level impacts, driven by cities and municipalities, to the central government one. improving service delivery, and promoting citizen-centric governance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, By connecting these diverse elements, the session will drive and involve the audience around a comprehensive vision for the future of public sector services, showcasing the potential of integrated digital frameworks to create a more interconnected, efficient, and citizen-centric public sector.
