Advancing Sustainable and Secure Data Analytics

The GLACIATION project, funded by Horizon Europe, is at the forefront of developing tools that enhance interoperability with the cloud, promote energy efficiency, and ensure data privacy. Our innovative approach includes the creation of a distributed knowledge graph that spans edge-core-cloud architectures. This enables optimized data analytics, significantly reducing power consumption while maintaining trust and privacy in data operations. 

Recognized Innovations

The European Commission’s Innovation Radar (2024) highlighted four key innovations from the GLACIATION project: 

  1. Advancing Energy Efficiency through Multi-Tier Data Storage Management
  2. Ant Colony Optimization for Search on Distributed Knowledge Graphs
  3. Boosting Energy Efficiency: Trade-Off Service Integration at ENG’s Data Center
  4. Secure Collaborative Computation for Privacy-Preserving Analytics on Distributed Data 

These innovations aim to enhance energy efficiency and secure data management, reflecting our focus on impactful and sustainable technological progress.
