Released July 2024 (revised October 2024), this conceptual ontology defines a unified metadata framework to support interoperable data ingestion and processing across the GLACIATION platform.
It formalizes core classes (e.g. Task, Resource, Measurement, Constraint) and their relationships (e.g. monitors, assigns, consumes) to model the scheduling and measurement flows in a heterogeneous, dynamic environment.
Tailored to the GLACIATION use cases, the model enables flexible, Linked-Data based metadata management to support decision making in distributed edge-core-cloud systems.
